Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions, we've got answers.

What is EncorEstate Plans?

EncorEstate Plans is the estate planning partner we work with to help clients create high-quality, state-specific estate plans. They work exclusively through financial professionals, which means clients get guidance from someone who already understands their personal situation and financial life goals.

All documents are created by estate planning attorneys in all 50 states and reviewed by a team of experienced professionals. Every plan is carefully reviewed, and if anything needs a closer look, they reach out directly so we can ensure everything is accurate and complete.

They also monitor legal and legislative updates to keep their documents current, which helps ensure your plan stays aligned with changing laws.

EncorEstate Plans isn’t the right fit for everyone. They start with a short set of qualifying questions to help confirm whether this approach makes sense for your situation. You can preview those questions on our Estate Planning page under the “Is our service right for you?” section. For many of our clients, this process is a thoughtful, cost-effective, and less intimidating way to finally get this important task done.

EncorEstates has been nominated for and received multiple awards recognizing innovation and outstanding service in the estate planning space.

How much does an estate plan cost?

We offer several estate planning packages, including Powers-Only, Will-Based, and Trust-Based options, to fit your life stage and needs. Every plan includes attorney-prepared documents, legal accuracy reviews, and optional attorney consultations.

If you are not ready to move forward with the documents but want to better understand your options, we also offer education-only support. You can book time with us at an hourly rate or a project-based fee, depending on your needs.

Pricing varies based on the type of plan and the level of support you need. Most services are offered at flat rates, with clear starting prices. Additional fees may apply for things like deed transfers, business entity documents, rush requests, or mobile notary services. Some costs also vary by state or county. All fees will be confirmed in advance and outlined in your Client Service Agreement.
